Well, it seems that marriage and relationships are ending quite quickly now days, which sometimes and quite often leave a child/children living with one parent. But the time comes when a single mother or father needs to find a companion. Being a single mother or father has never been the easiest position to be in when looking for a new partner. This is sometimes the case, when meeting a new partner, when they have no children of their own, You may think that you are seen by them as to be carrying a lot of "baggage".

Couple of key points to remember, on first dates.
If your children are old enough to understand, do tell them that you are dating.
And when introducing them to your date, make sure that you do keep your kids well informed.
Don't just talk about your children on first dates, especially if they do not have children of their own, they may not necessarily want to chat about yours constantly.
