Misdefining Racism

Why does misdefining the word "racism" matter? Because by misdefining this term, this makes the following statement true: "blacks cannot be racist" (I hear this all the time and judging by my research many people actually believe this, apparently the number is in the millions based upon my estimate) It should be obvious that is false. Now go to merriam-webster dictionary online. merriam-webster dictionary: racism: 1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race 2 : racial prejudice or discrimination But when one defines racism as so called sociolists have (and "black leaders" have), it is: "prejudice plus the power to oppress" then one can argue that black people do not have the power to oppress other people. But this is still false as well since oppression is a very vague term, let's look it up in merriam-webster dictionary: 1 a archaic : suppress b : to crush or burden by abuse of power or authority 2 : to burden spiritually or mentally: weigh heavily upon Recently, a 18 year old white male, named Brian Milligan jr. was beaten with a concrete brick by 10 black men for dating a black girl (a link to a news broadcast is posted in this video's description). This definitely qualifies as the "power to oppress" (although not on a macro scale necessarily but obviously on a micro level, that is the every day world we all live in).
